2. Script Frenzy '08 - Still basking in the glory that is this finished goal. :D
3. Regular exercising (twice a week) - 1/100 workouts - I FINALLY got my butt over to the gym, and got all trained up on the weight machines (even though I sort of already knew how to use them, but they had to set up my account on the weird computer thing, so whatever), and did two short aerobic workouts on the treadmill. Ohmigosh, I need to run more. I've gotten so slow and weak and flabby and eww. This summer, I will work out a lot, and have a stronger/fitter body. Nurr.
4. Regular journaling (seven pages per week) - Keeping up with this one. Had a little trouble finishing the seven pages the last few weeks, but this week I went over. Summer is usually really hard for me with journaling, but this is my third summer with my journals! Third time's the charm! I CAN DO THIS!
5. Regular creative writing (one piece per week) - 10/50 pieces, 5/12 accompanying images - I added three pieces and three accompanying images due to the fact that I wrote a long-short story and illustrated it. It took over 50 hours, ended up being 45 pages of story with 30 illustrations, plus one "bonus" illustration on the cover and one piece of concept art. AND I was the only one in my class to get 100 percent on that project! I should probably give myself more, but that gives me a nice even number in each category (10 and 5, respectively), so neh.
6. One contest + one submission - Meh, it's done. Hopefully I'll submit some more things to my school's slightly-pathetic-yet-still-existent literary magazine in the fall.
7. More socializing - 13/40 events - I had a super social week. :D For six straight days, I had a social event each day, some that took the whole day. 'Twas fun. I still have to go through and count up old events, though, so I probably have more events, anyway.
8. "Progress" - You know what? Shut up. (Failed - I'm never going to make this goal ever again, not for anyone.)
9. More studying/earlier start on homework/"good grades" - Meh, it's summer. Putting this on hold, even though I have schoolwork over the summer. Eheh.
10. Summer job - T_T
- Not started: 1
- In Progress: 5
- Completed: 2
- Failed: 2
Well...I guess this is good! I still have my two completed goals, so I only need three more to reach my "overall goal". I only have two failed goals and one "not started goal" (which is only like that because I have no idea how to deal with it since I can't really figure out how to count it). And I have five goals in progress! I could probably finish with six or seven goals at the end of the year - I have a feeling the journaling one will be doable. Same with the socializing goal, seeing how I almost doubled my numbers in a week. If I get on it, I can probably do the creative writing goal, too.
And that's five.
I'm optimistic about this thing, especially since I started exercising again today. :D Yay for having time to exercise! I love exercising, because I know that every breath I take and every thing I push and everything I do is making me stronger. And I know that if I keep at it, slowly and little by little, I'll get stronger, look better, and find the exercising much easier.
I can't wait to be stronger! Maybe I'll look better and feel better about myself, too, which is always good. I'm not fat, and I'm sort of thin I guess, but I'm NOT fit, and I wish I was. So I think I'll work really hard to make myself healthier and stronger this summer, and maybe I'll be able to feel more comfortable with my appearance at the end of the summer. Hopefully I'll get a routine going (my goal is three-to-five times a week, hopefully four weekdays and one weekend day) so it'll be easier to continue during the school year. Nurr.
